Elena Martinoni Caleppio is an Italian-American artist and architectural designer interested in crafting human experience in an immersive, playful and innovative manner.

 

Living between Milan and New York, and a passionate traveler, she is intrigued by human interaction with space in all forms: how man-made environments relate to their surroundings and how diverse cultures and costumes interplay and shape an urban fabric.

 

Taking at heart the environmental threats of our times and aware of the impact of the construction industry on our planet, she wishes to design consciously and sustainably, with a carefully crafted aesthetic. 

 

Working with both digital and analog mediums, Elena explores the hybrid experience of augmented and unfiltered realities, seeking the right balance between physical and virtual.

 

For Elena space at all scales and dimensions is about harmony, balance, functionality, but mostly about how they make us feel.

 

In May 2020 Elena completed her bachelor degree with honors in Architecture at Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, New York.
